How we work
Every move is run by a crew lead with their crew and truck. The crew lead walks through your home with you, follows the written proposal, keeps the time and gives you the total near the end. You deal with one person on moving day.

Very good experience overall. We had a mix of heavy furniture and a lot of smaller boxes, the team handled everything without any issues and they didn't even rest for a minute. They wrapped the larger pieces properly and kept things organized while loading the truck fitting each space in the truck organized and secure so that nothing could fall or damage during the move.

What happens after you ask for a quote?
Ask for a quote. An average studio, 1- or 2-bedroom apartment can book online and see its hourly estimate in a few minutes. Bigger homes get a written quote from our team: list the rooms, the large furniture and both addresses.
Hold your date. Your written proposal sets out the hourly rate, the crew, the truck and the hours we expect. A $25 deposit that counts toward your total holds the date, and it moves with you if you reschedule.
Moving day. Your crew lead and crew arrive on time with the truck. They pad the furniture, take apart what needs it and load up, and billed time starts at your first address.
Pay once. Near the end, your crew lead adds up your hours in 15-minute steps after the 3-hour minimum. Card, cash and Zelle all come to the same total.

Who runs your move?
Every Polaris move is in the hands of a crew lead, who brings their own crew and the truck. Our crews of 2 to 4 professional movers have 5 to 10+ years of experience. They wrap furniture in moving pads, take beds and tables apart and put them back together at the new place.
The crew lead stays with your move from the first walk-through to the final bill, so the person who saw your home is the one who adds up your hours. Tell them about fragile pieces and where things go, and they direct the crew.

What insurance do you carry?
We carry all the insurance Texas law requires, plus cargo insurance. Our liability is $0.60 per pound per article, as written in your proposal and bill of lading.

A crew lead and their crew. The crew lead runs the move from start to finish.

How is my bill worked out?
