What comes with every Burleson move

The truck is in the rate
Plenty of DFW movers charge a truck or travel fee on every job, and one posts $99 for it. A 4-bedroom Burleson house with 4 movers and the 26-ft truck for 8 hours is 8 × $219 = $1,752 with us, and the truck and the trip add nothing.
No trip fee to Burleson
Burleson is in our service area, so sending the crew south costs you nothing. Your billed time begins when the crew gets to your driveway.
No card fee
One DFW mover posts a 2.5% fee for paying by card, which would put $43.80 on top of that $1,752 move. We charge the same total whether you pay by credit or debit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, cash or Zelle.
A crew lead runs your move
Each Burleson move has one person in charge, a crew lead who brings their own crew and truck. They walk the house with you first and work from your written proposal.
On time on moving day
Builders hand over keys and lenders fund closings on a schedule, so your crew is there on time.
Booked right away
No waiting days for a callback. An average apartment books online in a few minutes, and for a Burleson house we usually send the written proposal within 30 minutes of getting your details.

Burleson neighborhoods, new subdivisions and HOA rules

Burleson grew out of Old Town, the original town around the railroad depot, where many houses are older, with steep front steps or narrow doors to plan for. Around it, newer subdivisions spread out along I-35W and SH-174, the highway that starts in north Burleson and heads toward Cleburne. Most of the city is in Johnson County, and a small part reaches north into Tarrant County.

In a new subdivision, the HOA or the builder may limit where a moving truck can park and when it can unload. If your street is still being finished, send us the builder's contact or the HOA's rules with your quote request, and the truck spot and the crew size get planned before the day comes.

Where in Burleson we move

We're local movers with our office in Carrollton, and our crews work all of Burleson, from Old Town to the subdivisions along I-35W and SH-174, plus Mansfield, Crowley, Joshua, Alvarado, Cleburne and Granbury.

Mansfield

Mansfield, east of Burleson, has an older downtown and many larger family homes, so 4 bedrooms usually means 4 movers and the 26-ft truck. It's inside our service area with no distance charge, and only the drive between your two addresses counts as time.

Cleburne, Granbury and Johnson County

Cleburne, Joshua, Alvarado, Crowley and Granbury are all inside our service area, so a move there is hourly with no distance charge. Lake homes in Granbury often have long driveways and a boat in the garage; boats and trailers travel separately from your furniture.

Moving in or out of a Burleson apartment community?

Every Burleson apartment community writes its own move-in rules, and the leasing office is the place to ask. Some want your move day on their calendar, and most need to know where a moving truck can stand while the crew loads.

  • Put your move-out or move-in time on the leasing office's calendar
  • Get the gate code and ask where the moving truck should park
  • Ask about quiet hours and whether Saturday or Sunday moves are allowed

Pass those rules to us when you ask for a quote. Our apartment movers in Burleson set the truck, the crew and the timing around them, and every dresser, table and headboard gets wrapped in moving pads inside your unit.

Online booking is built for an average apartment. If you have more than most, such as a packed storage unit, a treadmill or a gun safe, ask for an exact quote or call (214) 204-7224, so the price matches what you own.

What Burleson moves usually look like

Most of our Burleson jobs as residential movers are 3- and 4-bedroom single-family houses with driveways that take a 26-ft truck: 3 or 4 movers and 5–11 hours. Garages here fill up with tools, mowers and shelving, so list what's in yours when you ask for a quote. A studio or 1-bedroom apartment usually needs just 2 movers and the 16-ft truck. Beds and tables come apart at the old house and go back together at the new one, as part of the job.

Before you move to Burleson

Electric service depends on the address: some homes are on the Oncor network, where you choose a retail plan, and others are served by United Cooperative Services, the electric co-op headquartered in Burleson. The City of Burleson handles water, and Waste Connections collects trash and recycling under the city's contract. Burleson ISD serves most of the city, with parts in Joshua, Everman and Mansfield ISDs; check your address before you enroll.

Break your empty boxes down and put them in the 65-gallon recycling cart. Bulk and brush pickup runs once a month by zone, and the city's map shows your week; anything that won't wait can go as a haul-away load on your move.
