What comes with every Flower Mound move

The truck is in the rate
Some DFW movers charge a truck or travel fee on every job, and one lists it at $99. Ours is already in the hourly price: a large Flower Mound 4-bedroom with 4 movers and the 26-ft truck for 8 hours comes to 8 × $219 = $1,752, and the truck adds $0.
No trip fee to Flower Mound
The whole town is in our service area, so we don't bill you for sending a crew out. Your hours start when the crew pulls up at your house.
No card fee
Paying by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, a debit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay costs exactly what cash or Zelle does. The card total and the cash total are one number.
A crew lead runs your move
Every Flower Mound job is led by a crew lead who brings a crew and truck of their own, tours the house and the garage with you first, and works from your written proposal.
On time on moving day
HOAs set truck hours and closings run on a schedule, so your crew is at the curb on time and the day begins as planned.
Booked right away
No need to wait days for a mover to call back. You can book an average apartment online in a few minutes, and a Flower Mound house normally has its written proposal in under 30 minutes.

Flower Mound neighborhoods, HOA rules and gates

Flower Mound is an incorporated town, mostly in Denton County with a small part in Tarrant County, and many of its homes sit on larger lots, set back from the road at the end of long driveways. Cross Timbers Road (FM 1171) runs east to west across the whole town, and Long Prairie Road (FM 2499) runs north to south down to SH 121. Grapevine Lake and Marshall Creek form much of the southern edge.

Plenty of neighborhoods here have an HOA, and some cap street parking or set hours for moving trucks; golf-course neighborhoods often keep truck rules of their own. Behind a gate? Ask for our truck to be added to the guard's list for the day, so the crew gets through the gate on time. Forward the HOA or gate rules when you request a quote, and we choose the truck and plan the carry to suit them.

Argyle and Bartonville

Argyle, northwest of Flower Mound, is mostly rural and has its own school district, Argyle ISD; Bartonville, next door, borders the master-planned Lantana community. Many homes out there sit on acreage, behind gates or at the end of unpaved drives, so let us know if a loaded truck can't use yours; sending the crew to Argyle or Bartonville carries no trip fee.

Moving in or out of a Flower Mound apartment community?

Most apartment moves in Flower Mound happen around Lakeside, the 265-acre business district by Grapevine Lake, where newer apartments, townhomes and condos come with garages and elevators. Each building writes its own move-in rules, and a loaded moving truck stands taller than most garage entrances.

  • Book the elevator and a loading spot with the leasing office, a morning slot if you can
  • Ask where a 26-ft truck can wait, since it won't clear the garage
  • Find out whether the building allows weekend moves, and in which hours

Pass those rules on when you ask for your quote, and the crew size, truck and parking get planned around them. Before anything leaves your Lakeside unit, a crew with 5 to 10+ years of experience wraps it in moving pads.

Online booking is made for an average-size apartment. If yours holds more, like a piano, a home gym or a packed storage closet, get an exact quote or phone (214) 204-7224 so the price covers it.

What Flower Mound moves usually look like

Expect larger homes and longer carries: most 4-bedroom houses take 4 movers led by a crew lead, a 26-ft truck and 6–11 hours. Lakeside condos and townhomes go faster, with 2 or 3 movers, and the hourly rate includes the truck. A big house often runs into the late afternoon. Bed frames and dining tables come apart at the old house and get put back together at the new one, included in the job.

Storm cloud over Flower Mound homes

Before you move to Flower Mound

Depending on the address, Flower Mound power comes from CoServ, an electric co-op, or through the Oncor network with a retail plan you choose. Check your address with CoServ, your seller or your builder. The Town of Flower Mound runs water, and Republic Services picks up trash, recycling and bulk items for the town. Lewisville ISD serves most of Flower Mound; parts of the west side are in Argyle, Denton or Northwest ISD, and the small Tarrant County part in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.

Break down your boxes flat for the recycling cart. Furniture and large items that won't make the trip can go to a bulk pickup, or we can take them as a haul-away load on moving day.

FAQs

My HOA bans trucks on the street. What do we do?

We park in the driveway when it fits a 26-ft truck, or work out another spot with you. Send us the rule with your quote request.

Is a long driveway extra?

No, there's no long-carry fee. Extra walking time is billed time, at your hourly rate.

Do you move pianos in Flower Mound?

Yes. Uprights are $199 with at least 3 movers; grand pianos $500, ground floor only.

Does a Sunday move cost more in Flower Mound?

No. Weekend days carry the weekday hourly rate, and there's no weekend fee.

Should I tip the movers?

Only if you'd like to. The crew doesn't ask, a tip never goes on your bill, and anything you leave stays with the crew.

Which license and insurance cover my Flower Mound move?

Polaris holds a Texas DMV household goods mover license, and as a licensed mover we carry all the insurance Texas law requires, plus cargo insurance.
